If your little one loves causing mayhem then the Bedlam is the bike for them. Designed in loud and rowdy colourways complimented by black components and a crazy feature print, the Bedlam 16 in raucous Red is sure to catch your child’s eye.
Developed on a hi-tensile steel frame with oversized tubes the Bedlam has been constructed for increased strength and durability to stand up to any terrain. The Bedlam features a rigid front fork which helps to improve balance and increase manoeuvrability and features low rise handlebars which help to promote a good riding position and ensure children are more aware of their surroundings.
The Bedlam 16 has been designed without gears to make your child’s transition to a bike without stabilisers hassle free. Narrow tyres have been selected for this model which feature a modern small block tread pattern making the wheels slimmer and lighter than the majority of the other children's bikes on the market. These tyres are suitable for riding on all terrains including traffic free paths, roads and light trails.
Aluminium V-brakes have been added to the Bedlam for safe stopping plus a V-brake modulator has been included which regulates the force applied to the front aluminium V-brake resulting in smoother braking. The aluminium and resin brake levers featured on the bike have been selected to be easily operated by little fingers, an adjustment screw is also fitted allowing you to alter the sizing dependent on the size of your child’s hands.
Safety is a key concern when designing our children’s bikes and all components are designed to make riding as safe as possible for your child. Aluminium wheel rims have been added to provide an improved surface for the brake blocks to brake against plus Raleigh’s special junior non-slip pedals have been fitted featuring rubber pads to prevent feet slipping off. Each pair of non-slip pedals is carefully colour matched to fit the bike design.
We focus on every detail of design when it comes to our children’s bikes, and the Bedlam is no exception; with graphics applied under a clear lacquer to ensure they don't fade or become damaged over time and complimentary coloured saddle bumpers and grips made from a softer dual compound for quality and style.
